Wikileaks UFO: Update on Wikileaks UFO Disclosure

It seems like forever since Wikileaks UFO cables were promised by it's founder, Julian Assange. In fact, it has indeed been a long time, and the media has seemingly forgotten all about these documents. Many people, however, are waiting for the release of the files, which first made headlines back in December 2010. Despite the length of time which has passed since then, there has been no word of any update on the matter from Wikileaks or Assange himself.

The lack of any Wikileaks UFO war news, which so many professional UFOlogists and curious individuals of all types were expecting, has been quite a disappointment. It's now looking like the entire mention by Assange may have been a ploy to create more attention and interest in his legal difficulties relating to the release of classified information having to do with entirely terrestrial politics. Did Assange dupe the media and those who are looking for the answers to discover if UFOs are real indicators of alien life? It's certainly a possibility.

Many people who have had their curiosity enhanced by the reports are wondering to themselves, "are UFOs real?" and waiting for the big release, but as time goes on without anything substantial being delivered, patience seems to be wearing thin.

Although the possibility that these files may never be released at all, or may not have even existed in the first place does exist, there's an alternative explanation for why there has been no news of the documents since their brief mention.  That, of course, falls into the realm of a conspiracy.  Oftentimes, in dealing with issues such as UFOs or aliens, people have a certain expectation that the government will do everything in it's power to prevent the leak of any sort of proof that aliens or ufos are real.

While Wikileaks may have successfully published secrets regarding American military activities and foreign policy, the line might have been drawn at UFOs and Assange silenced in some manner.  Possibly with threats or blackmail.  Of course, there is also the possibility that Wikileaks itself is a disinformation mill and being run from the same intelligence agencies that it claims to be exposing.  When you start dealing in the realm of conspiracy, it can be very hard to pin down any particular notion with actual evidence.  This is a situation which creates what some would say is a sort of paranoia, and at the very least makes evaluating facts difficult.

The Wikileaks UFO files might still be out there somewhere, waiting to be released. Possibly even being held onto by Assange as some sort of trump card, like a type of men in black insurance policy. All we can really do is speculate on the truth at this point since there is really very little facts to report.

What we do know for certain is the the founder of Wikileaks has stated quite clearly that the so-called Cablegate leaks contain information about UFOs. At the time he stated the following:

"Many weirdos e-mail us about UFOs or how they discovered that they were the anti-Christ whilst talking with their ex-wife at a garden party over a pot plant. However, as yet they have not satisfied two of our publishing rules: 1) that the documents not be self-authored; 2) that they be original.

"However, it is worth noting that in yet-to-be-published parts of the Cablegate archive, there are indeed references to UFOs."

So, what is the reason for this lack of follow-through? Is Assange too intimidated to deliver the goods, or was this another UFO hoax? Is it possible we will still see these files released? Right now, we can only guess. But one thing is certain, public interest in these files will not just disappear. Many people are still waiting, and are asking questions about just why it is that these documents have not been leaked, when so many others have. Could it be that there just isn't much there of any significance or could it be that these UFO cables are way too significant to be allowed to come into public view?

Finally there is some new information regarding the Wikileaks UFO leak.  Assange has reportedly stated that the unreleased documents are mostly to do with the Raelian group.  For those of you who are not familiar with Raelians, they are a new religious movement whose founder, Rael, is believed to have been in contact with alien beings known as "the Elohim". Raelians made news several years back with the unproven claim to have produced the first human clone.

One of the cables relating to the Raelians has indeed been released and is available to read now.  As it may possibly be illegal and violate HubPages terms of service to provide it here or link to it directly, if you'd like to access that cable, you will have to use Google and do a search for "Raelian Wikileaks".  It's quite easy to find now.

There's nothing earh-shattering there, however.  This particular release is just a short summary of the Raelian movement and a small bit of commentary.  Surely there must be more than that?  Only time may tell, but at least we are one step closer to solving the mystery of the Wikileaks UFO files.
